Is Spotka a dating app?
No. Spotka is for friendship, community and things to do: meeting people in Warsaw around the activities you love, with friends you already have and people you have not met yet.
If you are looking for a date, there are apps for that, and Spotka is not one of them.
How is Spotka different from a dating app?
Spotka matches you on what you like doing, brings people together in small groups around a plan, and gets you off the screen as fast as possible.
No swiping
There is no deck of faces and no yes/no. You see plans, not profiles ranked by photos.

The unit of Spotka is a plan: a dinner, a walk, a gallery night. You join a thing to do, and the people come with it.
Your friends are welcome
You can invite the friends you already have, even if they are not on Spotka. A dating app would never let you do that.
Small groups
One-to-one or a few people, because that is the size at which strangers become friends. Never a crowd.
Why does Spotka say this so clearly?
Because a plan only works when everyone at the table came for the same reason.
Most people who move to a new city, change jobs, or simply grow out of their old routine do not need a partner. They need two or three people to do things with. Spotka is built for that, and it says so on the first screen so that nobody joins a pottery night hoping for something else. Our Terms set out what happens when someone uses Spotka for something it is not for.
Who is Spotka for?
Spotka is for anyone in Warsaw who wants more real time with people: newcomers, people whose friends have scattered, and people who simply want company for the things they love.
- You moved to Warsaw and your social life is still a chat group in another city.
- Your friends are here, but between work and family you never actually see them.
- You have a hobby nobody around you shares, and you would like company for it.
- You speak Polish, English, Ukrainian, Belarusian or Russian, and you would like to be welcomed in your own language.
What if I do meet someone?
Then you met someone at a dinner, the way people always have. Spotka does not stand in the way of that; it just is not the point.
Friendships, shared hobbies and, yes, occasionally something more all start the same way: by spending real time with someone doing something you both enjoy. Spotka gets you to that table. What happens at it is yours.
